The Brain and Spinal Cord
In order for your body to function as it was designed your Brain and spinal cord (the Central Nervous System/CNS) must function at 100%. By definition the CNS totally controls and gives function to every cell, tissue and organ in the body. If the nerve system is not functioning properly it doesn’t matter how well someone eats, how much they exercise or how clean they live their life, their body will not be able to heal and function at normal levels and disease processes will develop.
Therefore, for you to have normal function and as a result to be considered healthy, your Central Nervous System must work at optimal levels without any interference. The most common way to damage or interfere with the function of the CNS is to have abnormal positioning of the armor-like bones (vertebrae) that protect the CNS. This misalignment of the vertebrae is called subluxation.
Subluxation causes interference to the normal function of the CNS which in turn causes the cells, tissues and organs which are supplied by the subluxated nerve to function improperly. When someone suffers from subluxation, the result is abnormal or less than optimal health.
Our corrective chiropractic procedures are designed to help our patients’ nerve system function at optimal levels. With improved nerve function along with the right nutrition, the right exercise regime and instruction on the right lifestyle choices our patients are able to achieve the most amazing, life transforming results.
