Cheyenne chiropractor for whiplash injuries caused by auto accidents. Quick relief and treatment!

Hello Cheyenne! If you are searching for treatment of your whiplash, neck pain, numbness and tingling problems caused by an auto accident look no further. We offer specialized chiropractic care and treatment programs for whiplash, neck pain, numbness and tingling problems caused by auto accidents that will get you relief as quick as possible, as well as correct your problems so you can achieve long term relief. However, we don’t use drugs or surgery to correct these problems. Those things just mask your problem! We focus on discovering what’s causing your whiplash symptoms and then we develop a treatment program designed specifically for you so you can get the relief you want and deserve.

How do we do this? It’s a three step process…

1. We find out EXACTLY what’s causing the whiplash symptoms caused by an auto accident (neck pain, headaches, numbness, tingling)…

Your brain and spinal cord control all health and function in your body so it is amazing that there are still some chiropractors who never take x-rays. We will never guess when our patient’s health is at stake. Our office uses advanced technology including nerve scans and digital x-ray software and analysis to find out exactly which vertebrae are misaligned, which direction they’re misaligned and how much they’re misaligned… down to the millimeter and degree. If you are suffering from whiplash symptoms caused from an auto accident then you are probably pinching a nerve in the neck. The only way to get rid of your whiplash symptoms is to re-align the vertebrae that is pressing on the nerve(s) causing it. Dr. Thompson is trained in the top two leading spinal rehab techniques in the world that have been proven to be clinically effective at correcting spinal alignment so you not only get quick relief from your auto accident whiplash symptoms, you also can get long term correction of what’s causing neck pain, headaches, numbness or tingling without drugs or future surgeries. You simply wont get this from other chiropractic offices that don’t have the proper diagnostic equipment or the training on how to permanently correct spinal misalignment that causes the symptoms associated with whiplash trauma caused from motor vehicle accidents.

2. We get rid of your whiplash symptoms caused from motor vehicle accidents FAST

Depending on what we find on your x-rays; how many vertebrae are misaligned, how much they’re misaligned, and how much degeneration is present, we will develop a plan to get rid of your whiplash symptoms as fast as possible. That is always our first priority. To use the best chiropractic care to get our Cheyenne residents relief from their whiplash symptoms caused by motor vehicle accidents as quickly as possible so they can get back to work and begin enjoying life again.

3. We give you advice and options for OPTIMUM correction of your whiplash injury…

Research shows that many times you won’t perceive whiplash symptoms (neck pain, headaches, numbness/tingling) until you get up to 40% compression of the nerve root that is causing symptoms. What this means is that by the time you first feel the numbness and tingling, the vertebrae has actually been compressing on the nerve in your neck a significant amount! Again, our staff is trained in advanced spinal rehabilitation procedures beyond what’s taught in traditional chiropractic school so our Cheyenne and surrounding area residents have the option of not only getting relief from their whiplash symptoms due to their motor vehicle accident but they also have the option of correcting their spinal misalignment and stabilizing it so it decreases the chance of their whiplash injuries returning. We will review all different treatment options for your whiplash injuries and we will come up with a plan that meets your goals for long term relief.

Important information for whiplash victims…

It’s obvious to know you are injured when you are in a significant motor vehicle accident; however most people have significant injuries when their car has sustained little or no damage and they don’t even realize it.  Research has shown that people in minor accidents of speeds less than 10 mph have some of the worst injuries.

This is due to the law of physics that states; for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.  Cars weigh thousands of pounds.  Back in the days of steel bumpers that crumpled when they were struck with a force the vehicle took the energy from the crash.  Now, with cars being so expensive we have bumpers that “give” so we don’t damage our car.  Problem is that that energy is then transferred to the occupants in the car and not the car itself.

Unfortunately, people in these motor vehicle accidents usually experience symptoms of soreness for a couple of days after the accident and then they mistakenly think that as soon as the symptoms go away that they are fine.  However, many of these people suffer from what is called delayed onset of symptoms when they are involved in these types of accidents.  Six months to a year after the accident occurred they begin to experience pain, migraines, numbness, tingling and other symptoms.  Many times the accident is so far in the past that they don’t even relate the “new” symptoms as being caused by the accident.  Insurance companies understand that this happens all the time so they make it a point to call people involved in accidents a couple weeks after their crash (when they know they are feeling pretty good) and they offer settlements that cover all the medical bills up to that point in time with “a little extra” in case the person may need to see a doctor in the future.  The insurance company’s game is to pay the person a little extra early on in the injury process when they know the person is feeling pretty good and are thinking that they aren’t injured.    Once the settlement is agreed upon the accident victim is then left holding the bag for any and all treatments when the delayed symptoms arise because they had settled the case early.

It is critical after being in an accident, no matter how minor it was to have a thorough biomechanical evaluation done by a specialist that is trained in these types of injuries and what is needed to treat these conditions to ensure that complete healing occurs.
