We love what we do! Below is just a sample of the so-called “miracles” that occur in our office on a daily basis.  However, truth is, these “miracles” are not miracles at all. It’s just what happens when someone gets to the root cause of their condition and then supports the body’s natural ability to heal itself!

I had uncontrolled seizures since I was 18 months of age. I tried every medication, therapy and ultimately had major brain surgery.  Needless to say, all of this was a waste of time and MONEY.  I still had seizures.  A good friend referred me to Health Solutions and now I have been SEIZURE FREE for almost 4 years!

I was told that I needed back surgery for my lower back pain.  My pain was so bad that I was taking 4 ibuprofen and 2 prescription pain pills every 4 hours. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 10 years ago. I didn’t know what caused it but I do know that stress kicked it into high gear. When it was at its worst, every muscle hurt, I had no energy and I was very depressed and emotional. I felt out of control.  Sometimes I would cry and I couldn’t tell you why.  I was on a total of 5 medications daily; an antidepressant, high blood pressure pill, thyroid med, sleeping med and I took a lot of ibuprofen. I came to Health Solutions because I had pain all over my body from fibromyalgia. Back pain, neck pain, head pain. My grandmother recommended that I go to see Dr. Thompson at Health Solutions because I was dealing with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. I had no energy, I wanted to sleep all day and i was only having my cycle once every 5-6 months. I came in for back pain, hip pain, leg pain, shoulder pain and numbness in my arms and legs. My parents told me about Health Solutions… I had tried other chiropractors and even physical therapy which only gave me temporary relief. Faith spent the majority of time sick. Ear infections, strep throat, colds, flu, mono, no energy etc. She couldn’t play outside and she sat out most physical activities because she was too weak. She slept constantly and had headaches almost daily. She went to the pediatrician 7 times that year for various illnesses. She was given antibiotics 5 different times and I was instructed to give her Children’s Motrin every single time. In November she was put on two rounds of antibiotics before the doctor decided to run blood tests because she was not improving. It was then that he diagnosed her with Mono and told me that since Mono is a virus, the antibiotics had been useless and it would have to run its course naturally (with the help of Children’s Motrin of course!). Faith went through a bottle of Children’s Motrin once every 10-14 days.

Faith missed a total of 4 months of school that year and her schoolwork suffered dramatically. When she was well enough to attend school, she was often tardy because it was so difficult for her to get out of bed in the mornings. It was very stressful for the whole family never knowing what could be done to help her feel better, and wondering if she would be sick her whole life. Faith would cry a lot and tell me that she didn’t want to be sick anymore.
After being invited to a class that Dr. Mike did I started the whole family on care because it just made sense! We followed their recommendations and changed our diets and started taking the correct supplements. Since that time, Faith has not had to return to her pediatrician for any reason. She has not had any illnesses of any kind since beginning care. Her headaches improved gradually and she only gets them when she eats something that contains sugar or MSG (that she is not supposed to eat!). She is no longer tired or weak and had energy to spare! Her attendance at school has improved along with her grades. She has returned to being a happy and energetic kid.

I am so thankful to Dr. Mike for showing me the path to health for my whole family. There is nothing worse than watching your child suffer. I had asked Faith’s pediatrician what was causing her to continue to get sick, and he never had an answer for me. He could only diagnose her symptoms and offer her harmful medications. Now, because of Dr. Mike, I understand that subluxation interferes with your body’s ability to function properly. Having a healthy immune system is much more effective than drugging yourself or your children. My whole family will continue to follow these principles and recommendations for life!

I was told that I had pre-cancerous cells on my cervix. I always had my routine checks and they came back negative and this does not run in my family. I tried taking immune booster pills because I had heard that would help. they ran a total of two biopsies and did two cryotherapies to get rid of the cells. I felt worse when the doctor told me that if it got too bad I wouldn’t be able to have kids. I was tired, in a lot of random pain and I would think the worst all of the time.
My husband and I were referred to the office from our family members and we began care in February of 2013. In June of 2013, I went back to the doctor to do a check-up and the abnormal cells were completely gone!

The staff at Health Solutions are always working hard to make the patients #1. If you have problems they will fix it. I also love the classes they offer to educate you to better your life and to involve you.

P.S. I also no longer have headaches every day like I used to!

I was suffering from terrible headaches, neck pain, allergies, low energy weight issues and my intestinal problems were becoming debilitating. The philosophy at Health Solutions is so much different than at traditional medical clinics. They wanted me to take insulin for my diabetes, blood pressure meds, cholesterol lowering meds however the side effects of these medications were just as devastating as the original problem. The insulin caused weight gain, hand/feet swelling, the Lasix reduced swelling but caused a depletion of potassium, then my blood pressure meds would cause an increase in potassium, the Statin drugs for cholesterol caused back pain constipation, diarrhea, muscle pain and pain into the arms and legs and liver problems.

The team at Health Solutions are very upbeat and really want to help people. Changing my way of living has taken some time and I am still implementing the ideas and strategies given to me but my nerve system has improved and now my body has the ability to heal itself. So many of my problems have gone away or really improved, I lost a total of 191 pounds, 69 of those pounds within a year of starting care! I’ve been able to eliminate some of my medications but not all… YET!

My advice for anyone would be to make sure you do the therapy that is recommended, make your appointments and come to the talks and the events as much as you can. Listen, ask questions, and absorb the information they give you!

I have lived with chronic illness since I was born with Rubella. I have had scarlet fever, chronic bronchitis and asthma most of my life. In 1989 I was diagnosed with Crohns Disease. i have since been diagnosed with Celiac, Reactive arthritis, spinal arthritis, Pyoderma Gangenosum, and Fibromyalgia (to name a few of the auto immune diseases). I also have sleep apnea! I have been on 2 experimental medications, Prednisone, every Crohn’s medication including 2 biologics, Remicade and Humira, Methadranate, and pain killers galore. I have had 7 surgeries including a permanent colostomy.
All of this has resulted in months in bed, long-term disability or medical leave of absence, use of canes and walkers, 24-hr oxygen and total parenteral nutrition, advance would care and 2 years of home care and physical therapy.

I heard about Dr. Thompson and Health Solutions through the Holy Trinity Parish and others from work and ministry who have completed their program. I attended an event they held called the Total Food Makeover and began care in January 2012. Since that time I am off all medications except 2. My blood work is the most “normal” it’s been in 20 years. I am able to lift over 30 pounds again, I can walk longer distances and bend better. I have good would healing, am sleeping through the nights, and have even lost 18 pounds. I think that Dr. Thompson and his team are committed and want to save lives through the grace of God.

I had always been active until last year when my health rapidly began to deteriorate. My legs and arms were in constant unbearable pain. I went to countless physicians and they all told me the same thing… you have arthritis! I have had arthritis for 25 years but never these problems. The kept referring me to other doctors for additional tests and treatment which was an absolute waste of time because I kept getting worse and none of their medicines or treatments were working.
I finally decided to try a chiropractor so I found this office which is close to my home. The only thing I knew before coming in was that my medical insurance didn’t pay for it! I found out about Health Solutions when I came to a class that my wife brought me to. After sitting through the class, I decided to see if this could help with my Type I Diabetes. Before I started care, my blood sugars were all over the place (poor control), I was feeling old and I could not keep up with my grand-kids. in addition, my weight was going up. Since being with them and following their program my insulin intake has been cut by a third with less swings in my blood sugar (better control).
